When I first opened Bricks on November 4th of 2017, I had nothing but a dream, a pair of gloves, and a stubborn belief that I could make a difference. Over the years, I watched that dream come to life in the faces of our members:

- Teens who found discipline and confidence instead of trouble.

- Adults who obtained weight loss goals, got stronger, and rediscovered themselves.

- Friendships that formed inside those four walls and lasted far beyond training sessions.

I’ve seen quiet, shy people turn into leaders. I’ve seen members rally around each other in tough times. I’ve seen people walk in feeling broken and leave feeling unstoppable. That’s the power of community.

Why We Closed — and Why I’m Coming Back

Life threw some punches that I couldn’t block. Business struggles, personal challenges, and financial setbacks forced me to close our doors. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made.

But here’s the thing — you can knock me down, but you can’t keep me there. The same resilience I teach in the gym is the same mindset I’m using to bring Bricks back, bigger and better.

The Plan Moving Forward

This time around, Bricks Fitness isn’t just reopening — we’re evolving.

We’re building a Community Impact Hub that goes beyond boxing and fitness:

- Partnering with local events and 5Ks to get our members active in the city.

- Hosting Park workouts to make training accessible for everyone.

- Offering youth programs that give kids a safe space to grow stronger, mentally and physically.

How You Can Be Part Of The Comeback

This isn’t just my fight — it’s ours. Every T-shirt bought, every personal training session booked, every person who shows up to a Bricks event is part of this story.

When Bricks Fitness reopens in 2025, I want to see familiar faces and new ones, ready to throw punches at life’s challenges and lift each other up.
